Digital Gift Card Terms & Conditions
When These Terms Apply
These Terms together with our Privacy Policy apply to all Site visitors, clients, customers, and all other users of the Site (referred to as “user”, “you” and “your” in these terms) who purchase a Digital Gift Card for or on behalf of themselves or others.
Where reference is made to “we”, “our” or “us” in these Terms, this means CARAVAN & LEISURE PRODUCTS NZ LIMITED t/a Calpro (NZBN 9429031179942) the owner of this Site (Site).
We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary these Terms by publishing the varied terms on our Site.
These terms of use cover purchases of Gift Cards via this Site.
Digital Gift Cards
· A Gift Card is a digital voucher/code redeemable for eligible goods and services sold on our Site.
Purchasing Gift Cards
· Gift Cards can be purchased on the Site in the denominations displayed at checkout.
· You must provide a valid recipient email address for delivery.
· We may place reasonable limits on purchase volumes and may decline or cancel orders where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or unauthorised activity.
Delivery (digital-only)
· Gift Cards are delivered electronically (by email) to the email address provided at checkout.
· Delivery timing is an estimate and may be affected by email filtering or third-party service delays.
· You are responsible for entering correct recipient details. If an incorrect email address is provided, we may not be able to replace or recover the Gift Card.
Redeeming Gift Cards
· Gift Cards may be redeemed online only at the checkout on the Site and may not be used in a retail store.
· To redeem, enter the Gift Card code at checkout.
· Gift Cards may be redeemed in full or part. If your order total exceeds the Gift Card balance, you must pay the difference using another accepted payment method.
Expiry
· Gift Cards expire three (3) years from the date of purchase.
· After expiry, any remaining balance will no longer be redeemable, except where required by law.
Balance
· Gift Cards shall retain their unused balances until the expiry date.
· Gift Card balances can be checked at the checkout at the time of purchase.
Restrictions
· Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
· Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards (unless we state otherwise).
· Gift Cards are digital only and are not reloadable (except in case of refunds).
· Additional exclusions (if any) will be shown at checkout or on relevant product pages.
Refunds for purchases made with Gift Cards
· Returns and refunds for goods purchased on our Site with a Gift Card are handled under our Returns Policy.
· If a refund is approved, the refunded amount will be credited back to the original Gift Card used for the purchase (the same Gift Card code), unless we are technically unable to do so or a different refund method is required by law.
· If an order was paid using both a Gift Card and another payment method, we may apply refunds back to the Gift Card up to the amount paid using the Gift Card, and to the other payment method for any remaining refundable amount.
Gift Card purchase refunds
· Except where required by law, Gift Cards are not refundable or exchangeable for cash once purchased and a code has been emailed.
Lost, stolen, deleted, or misused codes
· Treat Gift Cards like cash. The Gift Card code should be kept secure.
· We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use of a Gift Card.
· We may suspend or cancel a Gift Card (or refuse redemption) if we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised access.
Fraud, misuse, and cancellation
We may refuse to accept a Gift Card, cancel a Gift Card, or cancel an order where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, misuse, or a breach of these Terms.
Privacy
· We will handle personal information submitted against a Gift Card order in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
· Personal information submitted to purchase a Gift Card activity may be used to administer the Gift Card, prevent fraud, and provide support.
Changes to these Terms
· We may update these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on the Site.
· The Terms applicable to your Gift Card are those in effect at the time of purchase.
